4 Full-time 21 hours ago Full Job Description Description SUMMARY The pharmacy support aide works under the general direction of a pharmacy manager or coordinator and is an integral member of the pharmacy team.
This person will be supervised at all times by clinical pharmacists and licensed pharmacy technicians.
The primary duties will include cleaning various work areas according to regulatory compliance and assisting with non-licensure required pharmacy tasks.
Non-licensure tasks may include answering phones, collecting and filing paperwork, auditing daily tasks in electronic tracking software, participating in billing activities, participating in regulatory auditing, participating in daily huddles and meetings to stay current with pharmacy operations.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS High School diploma (or G.

D.
equivalent).
Experience with computers and typing skills required.
Legible handwriting and/or printing.
Numerical comprehension and mathematical skills.
Ability to communicate verbally, comprehend verbal instructions, and have good telephone etiquette.
Good vision, manual dexterity, and physical ability to stand the majority of the time.
Health care experience desired.
One (1) - two (2) years of pharmacy experience preferred.
ORGANIZATION Reports to The Pharmacy Managers and/or Pharmacy Coordinators SPECIFIC DUTIES Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of Munson Healthcare.

Promotes personal and patient safety.
Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times.
Maintains a general awareness of departmental dispensing system, procedures, and regulations.
Assists with billing as needed.
Scans and organizes patient and business documents for departments within the pharmacy.
Organizes and stocks various parts of the pharmacy.
Records meeting minutes at every Pharmacy Department meeting.
Hand delivers medications to nurses or med rooms when needed.
Documents specific daily, weekly, and monthly activities in Pharmacy Keeper program and follows up on past due activities.
Cleans IV rooms following strict regulatory procedures.
Performs general housekeeping continually to maintain a neat, clean, professional appearing environment in the main Basement Pharmacy, B2 Pharmacy, OR Pharmacy, and ER Pharmacy.
Assists with various department audits as assigned.
Performs secretarial duties as requested.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

, use of a computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying of light loads (up to 40lbs), including boxes, equipment, IV solutions, and stooping or kneeling (e.

, to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves, and to file documents in lower file drawers); walking or standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) is often necessary; must be able to physically operate the equipment used for the job.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
