Responsibilities:
Research building best practices and applications in the field Identify questions, design issues or problems with blueprints; work with architects, designers, builders, vendors, and sales staff to finds answers to meet customers' needs Maintain the estimate schedule and update work log Use estimating solutions effectively to improve productivity and accuracy.
Build and maintain standardize estimating software templates to perform work efficiently and accurately Understand the quoting process through point-of-sale software and how estimates are imported and reviewed by sales team Track data for key metrics to improve effectiveness and estimating knowledgebase Building Material Estimator
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Read and interpret blueprints Understand building materials Understand building codes Document control ensuring swift handoffs of estimates Professional use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and similar Teach and reinforce company values concepts with others Initiative / self-starter Professional appearance PMP Personnel Services - an entirely employee-owned company - is the largest independent employer in Northern Michigan.
