We are new and unique option for individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility level of care and wish to remain in their homes as they age.
What does that mean? We care for the elderly at our day center on Garfield near Hammond during regular business hours and as needed in their home.
Never heard of us before? That's okay, we're new to the region.
We began serving the elderly in 2019 and our service model is so popular it's growing quickly! Do we have benefits? Yes! Our full-time team members enjoy; regular daytime work schedules, additional pay between $2.
00 and $5.
00 per hour for work after 5:
00p during the week and on weekends, $750.
00 sign-on bonus, plentiful PTO and paid holidays, and great insurance benefits available immediately upon hire.
Dental coverage is 100% paid for, for our employees and their dependents! We also have a great team of professionals who are a joy to work with! What does a driver at PACE North do? Our drivers are expected to perform one of the greatest tasks here at PACE North.
They are the first and last point of contact for our participants.
You drive one of our buses or vans to pick up the participant and drop them off here at the center and drive our participants home at the end of the day.
Our drivers may need to drive our participants to an appointment, take them to do fun activities, such as shopping or visiting a museum, to name a few! You will also need to make sure the buses are clean, fully fueled up for the next day, and the bus is ready for the next day's ride.
Requirements:
What qualifications should you bring to the table? We are looking for that special person who loves serving others with a positive approach.
We would need you to pass a drug test and a background check.
We'd appreciate at least 6 months working with aging adults, a valid MI.
Chauffeur's license with a clean driving record.
We will also train you on the job, as you need a CPR or basic first aid certification, and to be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have required immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct contact with participants.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
