You will be responsible for receiving payments and issuing receipts, as well as keeping track of all cash and credit transactions occurring within the restaurant.
The Cashier position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a candidate who is reliable, has great communication skills, and is able to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities Manage transactions with customers - collect payments, issue receipts, change money, etc.
Issue receipts in a timely manner while maintaining accurate cashiering records.
Ensure that the restaurant operates in an efficient and profitable way at all times.
Deal with customer complaints/issues in a timely manner.
Requirements Proven work experience as a Restaurant Cashier or similar role (preferred) Knowledge of all payment methods and how to handle each one separately Familiarity with modern banking systems and how to use debit cards Ability to use a cash register software (preferred) Physical Demands Requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
