Your responsibilities will include:
Scanning and organizing documents to maintain accurate records.
Managing the fax inbox and outbox, ensuring timely and secure transmission of information.
Assisting medical assistants with paperwork and administrative tasks.
Handling incoming referrals and ensuring all necessary information is processed efficiently.
Periodically assisting with light cleaning of patient rooms to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Answering phones and providing excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
Scheduling appointments.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in using office equipment, including scanners and fax machines.
Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare processes.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
