Must be able to respond to email/phone requests and communications in a timely manner.
-Dependable, efficient with time, and professional in appearance.
Will represent the Dining Services/Nutrition department at times.
-Computer skills including email, Google drive, and Adobe required.
Experience with PCC and Meal suite preferred but not required.
-Good communication and collaboration skills.
Will be working with the nursing and therapy departments on a daily basis.
-Customer services skills in relation to meeting new residents and families and addressing food complaints or concerns.
-Ability to handle potentially high stress-situations and problem solve.
-Knowledge of CMS Long Term Care Regulations, Food Safety/Sanitation, and the Food Code a plus.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical records and abide by HIPPA.
-For DTRs, knowledge and experience with the Nutrition Care Process.
-Physical Requirements:
Ability to deliver and stock pantry items/supplements on all units.
Walking to each unit multiple times per day.
Role:
70% Dietary/Food Service 30% Clinical Experience/Education:
-Dietetic Technician or Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) preferred.
-Associates degree in Nutrition or Food Management preferred; equivalent job experience will also be considered.
-Experience as a dietetic technician with desire to advance certification is also considered.
