The type of projects in our shop ranges from custom cabinetry, to architectural millwork, to foam sculptures, to tradeshow booths, and more.
The person in this position will be responsible for processing work safely and efficiently, while keeping with Britten's quality control standards.
This is a key member of our team who will be flexible in terms of scope of work and will be able to work with a range of materials and tools, to help meet the needs of our customers.

Job Summary and Job Functions Operate a variety of woodworking and foam sculpting machinery and tools to fabricate cabinetry, millwork, and foam sculptures Match materials for color, grain, or texture Glue, fit and clamp parts and sub-assemblies together to form complete unit using clamps or clamping machine Sand and scrapes surfaces and joints of articles to prepare for finishing Read and understand blueprints, drawings and/or written directions Measuring parts to ensure accuracy and fit Assemble and prep units for finishing with precision and attention to detail Willingness and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done with thinking Safety First Interest and ability to work long hours and weekends as needed Align with and believe in the company core values:

Requirements:
Assembly work, woodworking, carpentry, sculpting and/or finish experience preferred Ability to learn quickly Good hand eye coordination Great attention to detail Outstanding work ethic and dependability Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools including their design, repair and maintenance preferred Know how to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and written directions Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods Align with and believe in the company core values:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
