Skills utilized in his/her job performance include assessment, communication, teaching, leadership, and management.
Areas where the nurse may function:
General Diagnostics, Special Procedures, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Computerized Tomograpy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Munson Professional Building Outpatient Radiology Department.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
Minimum of one year critical care experience (i.
e.
ER, PACU, CCU ICU, A2, CTU) Current BCLS requiredACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
(Must obtain these certifications within one year)Observance of AORN guidelines for proper attire in the procedure suite.
Must comply with radiation safety requirements such as use lead apron and radiation badge during all angio, MPR and CT procedures ORGANIZATION Accountable to the Unit Manager or designee of the assigned patient care unit; ultimately accountable for the practice of nursing to the Vice President, Patient Care Services.
Provides direction to and supervision of LPNs, Techs, Clerks, Nursing Assistants, and/or other categories as needed.
Works collaboratively and effectively with all members of the Patient Care Team.
SPECIFIC DUTIES Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of Munson Healthcare.

Promotes personal and patient safety.
Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times.
