ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
ABachelor s degree in health related field with relevant healthcare experience required.Masters degree in a health related field preferred. Licensed RN preferred.
A minimum of five years leadership experience within a health care delivery system with an in depth understanding of regulatory requirements and health care operation.
Demonstrated experience with performance improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels within the organization including the Board, Medical Staff, MMC President, and Administration.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills that support central communication with external regulatory agencies, service leadership and the individual member organization teams.
Must be able to adapt to frequently changing work priorities.
Experience with the accreditation process and knowledge related to application of standards and measures preferred.
ORGANIZATION
Reports to the President of Munson Medical Center.
Works closely with Vice President of Medical Affairs.
Has significant working contact with administrative staff, physicians, hospital staff, managers, directors and general public.

The position serves as a highly visible, champion of quality and patient safety throughout Munson Medical Center and in the community.
Provides leadership for system-wide efforts to continuously improve the patient safety, effectiveness, efficiency, patient-centeredness, equity,andtimeliness of health care delivery to all patients.
Leads the organization to achieve outstanding performance on key, nationally standardized metrics of quality andpatient safety.
Plays a key role in developing a comprehensive program to minimize patient harm through the implementation of systems that: create a culture of patient safety; proactively identify risk; encourage adverse event reporting and thoughtful, learning-oriented analysis of safety events and near misses; facilitate system-wide learning on the part of leaders, clinicians, trainees, and staff; and facilitate system and individual improvements required for the safest possible health care.
Supports Board Quality.
Reports quality improvement/patient safety activities to Administration, Board Quality and MMC Board.
Coordinates and prioritizes the work of RN Data Specialists.
Provides leadership and strategic direction for patient safety organizationally.Ensures that the National Patient Safety Goals are implemented and measured.
Provides direction and resources for Joint Commission constant readiness.
Provides senior leadership and actively participates in meeting Joint Commission, CMS, and State of Michigan regulatory requirements.
Ensures that all external data reporting requirements are met.
Serves as Munson Medical Center member of BCBSM Statewide Coalition.
Ensures that BCBSM PHA (Participation Hospital Agreement) Quality and Pay for Performance requirements are implemented and completed.
Serves as the Munson Medical Center CMS Quality Net Exchange Administrator.
Serves as the Munson Medical Center contact for the state quality information organization (MPRO).
Facilitates application and submission of information for the yearly Michigan Governors award.
Serves as the main contact and facilitator to the Munson Medical Center Joint Commission and CMS Core Measure Vendor.
Serves as the Munson Medical Center representative for system wide quality activity.
Ensures that the Institute of Healthcare Improvement requirements are met.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
