Heartland Home Care is searching for a qualified candidate with good office skills to work in our Traverse City office. We have a Fulltime opening for a Team Player with strong computer skills, medical office experience and wonderful communication skills. Must be able to work independantly and have strong people skills. Must possess strong typing skills and excellent at 10 key typing, home care or hospice experience preferred. Work in a fast pace environment, heavy work load, ability to multi-task, well organized, efficient, good work ethic, work well with others, team player, variety of job responsibilities, position is approx. 95% data entry. Experience with multi-complex systems such as Horizon, other systems preferably in the health care field. Responsible to maintain accurate and complete client and employee records. To perform data entry, billing and payroll processes according to company policy and procedure. Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Position Requirements:
Less than 5% travel required on a daily basis.
Prefer prior experience in an office setting. Basic office skills with good communication skills and telephone technique. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
