BRANCH MANAGER Traverse City, MI We have an outstanding opportunity for a Branch Manager at our Traverse City, MI facility.
As a Branch Manager you will be challenged to develop business with our sales and operations teams in key market segments.
You will be responsible for entire operations of the branch.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsibilities Include:
o Develop and execute marketing plans to support the penetration of key market segments in collaboration with our Sales and Operations teams and outside vendors.
o Lead and manage team consisting of Counter Sales, Warehouse, and CSR employees.
o Manage the day to day operations the branch including safety, retail sales, warehousing and distribution.
o Manage inside sales, sales growth and sales margins.
Collaborate with outside sales to ensure order accuracy and properly scheduled customer deliveries by Airgas trucks.
o Manage branch inventory, daily hard goods inventory cycle counts and maintain showroom and warehouse appearance.
o Manage all hard goods receiving and all dynamic deployment (hard goods interbranch orders) for completion timely and daily.
o Coordinate sales promotion activities, merchandising and displays also opportunities for Radnor conversions.
o Monitor SAP reports daily such as open order/delivery reports, billing and delivery block reports and open PO reports.
o DCR-Daily cash reconciliation, make sure it is completed daily in a timely fashion and all errors are addressed and fixed and bank deposits are made.
o Work with our hardware vendors to schedule and hold monthly vendor product training sessions.
o Oversee employee training in procedural areas such as following all Airgas SOP's and safety regulations.
o Leader/manager of annual/bi-annual physical hard goods inventories.
o Manage branch operating expenses, inside employee's overtime, office supplies and so on.
o Work with corporate accounts receivable to manage branch credits and collections.
QualificationsQualifications EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
o Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in sales and/or distribution of gases and welding supplies or similar industrial products; at least two (2) years experience as a manager.
o Candidates with a College degree will be given priority consideration.
o High School Diploma or GED required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
o Occasional COMPUTER SKILLS:
o Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
o SAP experience preferred.

o Demonstrated planning skills and outstanding personal relationship skills o The successful candidate takes ownership and creates solutions and enjoys working hands-on in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment o Must demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate directly and honestly o Is a role model for expected performance on the job o Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
o Demonstrates a clear and effective speaking manner for the purpose of explaining information to customers and employees.
o Strong problem-solver, with an eye for detail.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
o Demonstrated knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
PHYSICAL ABILITY:
o Ability to move/ lifts materials weighing 50-60 pounds.
o Ability to drive for extensive local/regional travel to customer locations.
o Eyesight must be sufficient to view items working on the computer, walking the branch location to interact with employees, customers on a regular basis.
o Extended periods of standing and/or sitting.
o Repetitive arm motions necessary to use the phone, computer, various hand tools.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
